As part of our ongoing efforts and head-scratching as home-brewers, one of the next logical steps for us was to grown our own hops. Put into soil this past March(ish), trained in a large pot, transplanted into the ground in May(ish), our Cascade hops have made some progress over the past month. After not visiting them for a few weeks, somewhat surprisingly, they’ve reached a height of over 6 feet. I’m still a bit hesitant to what they will yield this year, but things are looking up.
Go, hops! go!
