Needless to say the weather around these parts has been a bit on the intense side this past week. Beginning with last Thursday afternoon’s storm akin to a hurricane, or at least what I imagine one to be like, with rain that flooded the streets and my windows accompanied by pounding winds that did unspeakable things to our tomato plants, there has been little shelter from the storms this past week. Last night was no exception. As the NL closed out their win in the All-Star game over the AL, another storm came barreling through the Denver Metro Area. In the midst of the storm was nothing but flashes of purple, green and blue light to accompany the torrential downpour. Once the storm moved northeast I was able to set up and get the photograph above which rivals my best storm photographs to date.
